NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS!!

Second after second, minute after minute, hour after hour and day after day, we complete 365 days and a year is passed. The current year ends thus giving us memories. Memories that bring joy and sorrow. At the 365th day, we think of all the hardships we have gone through the entire year. How to convert these hardships into happiness becomes the top priority the next year. The problems that we faced in this year won't be repeated next year is the vow taken by each one of us. Thus leading to a very ambitious new year.

Some of the New Year resolutions are as follows:-

I’ll start studying hard, watch less television and play less so as to devote more time to studies, with the advent of a new year.
– A 13-year-old teenager. He is very determined in achieving his new objective. Only time will tell how he will fare.

I’ll be graduating from college next year. I would probably like to appear for the CAT examination and acquire a seat in IIM and pursue management.
– A 21-year-old young student. He is indeed entering into the competitive market. Only his focus will take him there.

I would certainly like to give up smoking. Hmm, ya, no doubt about it. I’m very much determined this time around.
– A chain smoker May be he would just double the packs he smokes or worst case smoke a little less.

I’m keen to get married to my Mr. Right and get settled in life. I do not want to work and that I would like to be a housewife.
– A graduate girl A girl is never predictable. God knows what will happen after marriage.

I would probably be switching jobs for the good (better prospects) in the next year. I would like to do something different the next year.
– A 24-year-old software engineer An IT professional will remain an IT professional. He is not concerned with his company goals but his booty. Definitely, he is very true to himself.

I would like to get my second daughter married to the groom of my choice. I would certainly like to arrange the marriage with a bandwagon this time around. My first daughter had eloped and got married. So I’m very keen to arrange the marriage of my second daughter before she professes her love over someone and repeat history.
– An old man Little does the old man know that children these days hardly listen to anyone when it comes to marriage.

I would make a list of places for the family to visit for pleasure the next year. Also I’ll find more schemes as far as savings is concerned.
– A housewife Whatever you say mam. You’re the boss.

On and all, we have seen as to how the onset of a new calendar year has tickled the grey cells of individuals with different age groups and sexes. Most of the times the resolution is made just for the heck of making one. In most of the cases above, it is seldom put to practice. It takes immense courage and determination to step into reality and accomplish the resolution.
